6 apples (good baking variety)
¼ c. butter
½ c. chopped walnuts
1 c. corn flakes (crushed slightly)
1 c. honey
1 t. cinnamon
¼ t. salt
Core the apples and peel off around the top. Spread 1 teaspoon honey over the top of each apple. Place apples in shallow pan. Put ½ c. Water in pan and bake uncovered in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Mix butter, ½ cup honey, salt, and cinnamon in a sauce pan and cook until bubbly. Add nuts and corn flakes to mixture. Spread over apples and bake 20 more minutes until apples are done.
