Pineapple Dessert (2 recipes)




1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 pkg. instant lemon chiffon pudding
1 can pineapple pie filling
2 pkg. Lady fingers
8 oz. Cool Whip

Whip Dream Whip and place in bottom of 9X18 glass dish. Make lemon pudding and set in refrigerator for a few minutes. Split 1 package of lady fingers and place on Dream Whip. Place ½ of the pudding over lady fingers. Place pineapple pie filling over pudding. Add other ½ of the pudding. Split second package of lady fingers and arrange over pudding. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Just before serving, spread Cool Whip over top. Serves 15 to 18.



Gert’s Version:
graham crackers
24 marshmallows
2/3 c. milk
small can pineapple
1 c. whipping cream

First line a dish with crushed graham crackers. Then place marshmallows and milk in a pan and heat till marshmallows dissolve. Cool and add ineapple. Whip cream and fold into the other ingredients. Pour into the dish lined with crackers and sprinkle crushed graham crackers over the top. Place in refrigerator over night.
